Drawings in dwf format
Drawing Web Format (dwf) files are much higher in quality, smaller in size and more versatile (hint: right mouse click while hovering over the drawing) than pdf files.

Note: to view these drawings, you need Autodesk Express Viewer. If you don't have it, click here for a free download. Also, this file format does not work in Netscape (sorry). Load this link in your Internet Explorer browser.

This is probably going to be one of the best looking hotels in the area.
Adjacent Hotel. Note steel frames.
Amazingly, one of the trickiest design challenges was providing a seismic separation between the porte-cochere and the covered walkway leading from the tower. The small "tuck under" part of the low roof framing is reversed (90 degrees) from the roof framing above it. Of course, all of this is hidden to provide a clean look which was the architectural intent. To see the roof framing in this area, open the roof framing plan by clicking here and note the Soffit Framing Plan on 2/S6.1.
